Services turnover index, in nominal terms and adjusted for calendar and seasonal effects, presented a year-on-year change rate of -0,4%, down by 0.9 percentage points (p.p.) from November. In the 4th quarter of 2023, the year-on-year change rate was 0.1% (1.3% in the previous quarter). 

For the year 2023, services turnover index grew by 4.4% (in 2022, the same index increased by 22.2%).

The year-on-year change rates of the indices of employment, wages and salaries and number of hours worked adjusted of calendar effects were 2.6%, 5.3% and -1.2%, respectively (3.5%, 7.8% and 1.8% in November, respectively). In 2023, the indices of employment, wages and salaries and hours worked (gross data) presented a year-on-year change rate of 3.8%, 10.3% and 3.3%, respectively (change rates of 6.5%, 10.0% and 9.5% in 2022).
