In September, the Industrial Production Prices Index (IPPI) recorded a year-on-year change rate of -5.2% (-5.5% in the previous month). The Intermediate Goods and the Energy groupings were fundamental in this outcome, showing variations of -6.5% and -15.6%, respectively.

Excluding the Energy grouping, the variation was -1.8% (-0.6% in August), maintaining the trajectory of gradual price recovery in this sector.

In the third quarter of 2023, industrial production prices decreased by 5.8% (-3.5% in the previous quarter).

The monthly variation of the aggregate index was 0.2% (-0.1% in August of 2022).
