January 2017 to November 2024 – Director of the Department of Methodology and Information Systems at INE, I.P., responsible for managing Statistical Methods, Georeferencing, Application Development, Informational Infrastructure, and Technological Infrastructure and Information Security Services.
- Represented INE in the RePLAN Multi-sectoral Team for Data Access and participated in the co-creation of the National Data Strategy in February 2019. Defined INE's ICT strategy aligned with its strategic, technological, and operational objectives, focusing on three pillars: i) Technological Infrastructure; ii) Information Management and Integration; iii) Innovation and Research.
- Co-authored the strategy, design, and implementation plan for INE's National Data Infrastructure (NDI) project, enabling the expansion of datasets for research to support public policies, inclusive information access, and open data initiatives for citizens, businesses, and society.
- Prepared and managed the SAMA project application for the NDI.
- Submitted proposals to the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR) for three projects: Territorial Information Infrastructure, Research Data Infrastructure, and Capacity Building in Data Science for the National Statistical System and Public Administration.
- The department collaboratively implemented the Information Security Management System. Also in this area, it was responsible for promoting and implementing the protocol signed between Statistics Portugal and the National Cybersecurity Center / National Security Office.
