Cereals surface increase less than expectations
drop on olive yard production raise 35%

Summary
On 31 December, early estimates point to an increase of the winter cereals surface, although not come up to expectations created by the high price of cereals in market. The scarce rain has been influence negatively the growing development of meadows, green fodder and permanent grassland, reducing the food availability for livestock. In the olive yard it is foreseen a drop on production, in about 35%, although a good quality of olive oil it’s expected.
