An Agricultural Census is a complex and very expensive statistical operation, in which all elements of the population considered, is observed through a survey. In the case of the agricultural census, these elements, or statistical units are the farms of the country. It is a statistical operation mandatory, given the European legislation, which will also be performed in all EU countries which collects structural information on all farms in a given country. The national survey is carried out every 10 years
