This paper attempts to characterize the foreign population living in Portugal, based on 2011 Census. The analysis of the final results was developed according to various themes: territorial distribution; distribution by nationalities; sex and age structure; marital status and conjugality; educational level; socio-economic characterization; religion; housing.
