In the 2nd quarter 2019, the number of building permits was 5.8 thousand, i.e. an increase of 0.5% compared to the same period of the previous year but slowing down vis-à-vis the 1st quarter 2019 (+13.3%). Building permits for new constructions increased by 1.5% and rehabilitation permits decreased by 12.5% (+13.5% and +9.0%, respectively, in the 1st quarter 2019). Completed buildings increased by 19.4% (+23.1% in the 1st quarter 2019) totaling 3.9 thousand buildings.
When compared to the previous quarter, the number of building permits decreased by 5.8% (+8.4% in the 1st quarter 2019) and the number of completed buildings increased by 4.3% (-0.2% in the 1st quarter 2019).
