Definition Indicator calculated in accordance with the methodology of the " Structure of earnings survey" (EU regulation 530/ 1999) carried out with a four-yearly periodicity. For the intermediate years countries provide to Eurostat estimates benchmarked on the SES results.
The unadjusted gender pay gap between men and women is the difference between average hourly earnings of employed men and women employed as a percentage of average hourly earnings of men employed. Employed population in enterprises whit 10 and more persons employed are considered (NACE Rev. 2, B to S (excluding O)).
