• REGION OF ORIGIN:  Region, among the regions of the exporting Member State, where the goods were produced or were assembled, combined, processed, repaired or maintained; in its absence, the region of origin is the region where the marketing process took place or the region from which the goods were dispatched.
• REFERENCE PERIOD:  Period to which the information refers and which may be a specific day or a time interval (month, fiscal year, calendar year, among others).
• IMPORT:  Physical movement of goods/merchandise out of the statistical territory a Member State to the statistical territory of another Member State or a third country.
• GOOD:  Any material object produced and placed on the market.
